what leader ship looks like

kia ora

Leadership is talking proudly, answering more questions and being quick to answer questions and they help with situations and understand them as well focus on class and help new people to get to know the school and help them around if they don’t know where to go. When you show leadership and when you show up to school you are showing what role models can look like and what leaders can show.

Being a leader is what I want people to remember me for. I want to show people how to be a good winner or a good loser at sport. I want to show people how to be a proud Tongan and how important Papakura is to me. I want to make our community proud of me.

I want my family members to be proud of me too cause my family members are the ones that encourage me to keep  going.

learning about safety-cooking Tech

kia ora

the things i learnd at tech was all about cooking safety i was in a group of 3 we werent cooking yet because we had to learn about all the safetys so no accitdents happen the first safety rule was if you shirt catch on fire you need to fall to the ground and start rolling untill it comes out and the other thing we done at tech was writing about learning new skills for cooking we had to choose four skills we wanted to learn so the cooking tech teacher would find a way to help us learn those skills and could use those skill for home or something else and we could use those skills to teach other people and they would be able to learn those skills for them self the next week we were cooking we made pancakes with syrup and cinamon suger we would put the cinamon suger on top the pancakes when ready. When all pancakes were ready and everyone was finished we would put our pancakes together and take a photo and after the photo we clean up and put our pancakes in the bowl and we get ready to go home.

Treaty of Waitangi

Kia ora

The Treaty of Waitangi was signed by over 500 chiefs and there were two versions  of the Treaty of Waitangi. One was translated into Maori and one in English. The Maori Version said that the Maori people would have sovereignty and the English version said that the British people would have governance. That caused many wars and that caused many people to die. The british people stole lots of our land. People from all around the world are now supporting our bid to keep our sovereignty.

It was signed on the 6 February 1840 in Waitangi up north.
